This agreement is for non-exclusive, perpetual rights to your uploaded content.
1. I confirm I am 18 years or older, or that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and approved this submission on my behalf.
2. I confirm I hold the copyright in this content, obtained it safely and legally (not by trespassing, breaching a road closure, or putting myself or others at risk), and have not signed away exclusive rights to it elsewhere.
3. If any person is identifiable in this content, I confirm they have agreed to appear and be published, and if they are under 18, that a parent or legal guardian has agreed on their behalf.
4. I agree to allow SEQ Weather (and media outlets we share it with) to publish this content, including in edited form (cropped, trimmed or colour-corrected), on our website, app and social media.
5. I allow SEQ Weather to overlay a SEQ Weather logo on published content along with the words "Not for media use".
6. Credit is given using my first name, unless I've told SEQ Weather otherwise above (for example, to use a business name instead).
7. I understand SEQ Weather may contact me if outside media request to use this content. SEQ Weather will not share my contact details with them unless I agree.
8. I understand I will not receive any payment for the published content.
9. I confirm the description I've provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
10. I agree to release SEQ Weather from claims arising from this content, including claims from people who appear in it, except where caused by SEQ Weather's own negligence.
11. I understand that if someone in this content later objects to being published, SEQ Weather will consider the request in good faith, but removing or editing content already published or shared to third-party platforms (including Facebook and other social media) may not always be possible.
